16.05 charitable foundation presented a water treatment system to Makariv
Friends and partners from the non-profit American organization RDI (Renew Democracy Initiative), led by Heidi Heitkamp, President of the Board and former U.S. Senator, and Executive Director Uriel Epshtein, personally attended the opening.
The delegation included Gideon Rose, editor of Foreign Affairs, Max Booth, Washington Post journalist, David French of the New York Times and others.
As part of the meeting, Oleg Klenin invited the participants to Bucha district, where the first water treatment system was installed, after which the delegation traveled to Makariv, where they had the opportunity to taste the water purified by the Ukrainian development.
Heidi Heitkamp, who visited the country for the first time, expressed her admiration for Ukrainian resilience and promised to continue supporting Ukraine in this war.
As a sign of friendship and trust, RDI will continue to finance new water treatment systems to be installed in Ukraine in the near future, as officially announced by the organization's Executive Director Uriel Epshtein.
