The 11th and 12th ReH₂O Stations Now Operating in Ukraine

On April 28, 2025, in the city of Mykolaiv, the official handover of two mobile ReH₂O water purification stations took place. The charitable organization Rebuild Our Ukraine, in partnership with international donors, donated the equipment to two regional medical institutions — the Mykolaiv Regional Children's Clinical Hospital and the Mykolaiv Regional Oncology Center.

The project was implemented as part of a nationwide program aimed at restoring critical infrastructure in frontline regions. Its successful execution was made possible solely through effective international cooperation.

As part of a special initiative, both stations were commissioned simultaneously. They are already providing access to safe drinking water for approximately 60,000 people — including hospital patients, medical personnel, and residents of nearby neighborhoods in Mykolaiv.

The official handover ceremony was attended by representatives of local and national authorities, delegations from partner organizations across North America and the European Union (including the United States, Canada, Germany, and the Netherlands), as well as more than 20 Ukrainian and international media outlets.

The event received nationwide coverage through United News — Ukraine’s official government-backed 24/7 national telethon, which is broadcast simultaneously on ten leading national television channels. This helped raise public awareness of the urgent need for safe drinking water in frontline regions — a challenge we are working together to address.
